Youth Stars of Manitoba
The Manitoba Stampede and Exhibition would like to invite young Manitobans to be apart of our Youth Talent Search. Contestants will compete for 1 semi-final position at the Red River Exhibition, where you will be 1 of 12 semi finalists who will compete to represent Manitoba at the Canadian Association of Fairs and Exhibitions National Finals. Past winners of the National Finals include: Country Music Sensation Paul Brandt, Canadian Idol finalist Jenny Gear, 1998 World Solo Tap Dance Champion Stephanie Cadman and many more.
To qualify for this event you must meet the following criteria:
- Be non-professional
- For competition July 22nd, be no younger than 12 years of age as of June 1, 2012 and be no older than 20 years of age as of November 1, 2012.
- Have no more than 5 participants in your performance
- Length of performance must be no more than 4.5 minutes
Contestants will be judged on both Artistic and Technical abilities
